New York, NY (March 16, 2017) – Rosewood Hotels & Resorts announced today the appointment of Luigi Romaniello as Managing Director, Rosewood Baha Mar, the newest Caribbean addition to the Rosewood portfolio. As Managing Director, Romaniello will lead all hotel operations at Rosewood Baha Mar, the exclusive, stunning property within the integrated resort development of Baha Mar in Nassau, The Bahamas.
CTFE has scheduled the opening of Rosewood Baha Mar for spring 2018 with an additional $35M investment to ensure the brand experience meets the expectation of Rosewood guests. The investment will include enhancements of guest rooms, suites, public spaces, swimming pools, and expanded culinary offerings.

Romaniello began his career with Rosewood Hotel Group in 1999 at Caneel Bay, A Rosewood Resort in the U.S. Virgin Islands. He then relocated to the US to oversee operations at the then Rosewood Crescent Court and in 2007, was appointed General Manager of the then Mansion on Peachtree, A Rosewood Hotel in Atlanta. Most recently, Romaniello successfully opened Rosewood Abu Dhabi in 2013.
