Nassau, Bahamas (March 28, 2017) – On Saturday, March 25, Baha Mar Director of Golf Sean Cracraft and Baha Mar Golf Professional Andy Deiro attended Fourteen Clubs Golf Academy’s junior skills competition at Bahamas Golf Federation facilities. There, they presented Georgette Rolle, Fourteen Clubs Golf Academy Founder and Lead Instructor, with a donation of 30 sets of golf clubs and bags for the academy’s elementary school age students, on behalf of Baha Mar and Royal Blue Golf Club, the Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course, set to open on April 21.

Fourteen Clubs Golf Academy, a local youth organization in Nassau, is committed to impacting, developing and retaining junior golfers, while instilling life-long values such as responsibility, confidence, passion, sportsmanship and perseverance. Rolle, a local golf professional, founded the organization and joins Baha Mar’s Royal Blue Golf Club this year as an Assistant Golf Professional, upon the course’s opening.

“The instructors and students at Fourteen Clubs are exceedingly grateful for this donation from my colleagues at Royal Blue Golf,” said Georgette Rolle, Founder of Fourteen Clubs Golf Academy and Assistant Golf Professional at Royal Blue Golf Club. “The brand-new clubs will make a significant difference in the kids’ learning and play, and will enable our students to participate in more advanced tournaments.”

“Georgette’s organization is essential to our community, and her commitment to empowering Nassau’s youth through the game of golf is inspiring,” said Sean Cracraft, Director of Golf at Baha Mar’s Royal Blue Golf Club. “We’re honored to work alongside Georgette at Royal Blue Golf Club, and look forward to continue supporting local play and the advancement of golf in Nassau and throughout The Bahamas.”

Royal Blue Golf Club at Baha Mar features an 18-hole, 72 Par Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course suitable for recreational and championship play. The Nicklaus Signature Golf Course was hand-designed by Jack Nicklaus, one of the most accomplished golfers of all time. The course and clubhouse will open on April 21, as part of the first phase of the resort destination’s strategic layered opening, which will also include the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar, various restaurants and bars, pool areas and dramatic fountain shows choreographed with music, film, and lights.

The phase one opening will officially mark the birth of the $4.2 billion development of Baha Mar.
